This week we give a well deserved nod to classic 80’s fantasy movies and spotlight an exceptional web-comic.
The Indie Spotlight of the week focuses on “Untold Tales of Bigfoot” by Vince Dorse. Vince’s expertly illustrated comic is about everybody’s favorite cryptid, Bigfoot! While on a camping trip, family dog Scout gets left behind as his master makes a speedy escape after coming face to fuzzy face with Bigfoot. Alone in the woods, mighty hunting-dog Scout learns he may need help if he’s to survive in the wild. Meanwhile Bigfoot simply wants a friend and is happy to save Scout (over and over) from the perils of the woods. Then it’s on to our featured segment, the Princess Bride-Cast! We guess famous Bride-quotes and share our most favorite and loathed 80’s fantasy films! It’s a good ol nostalgic time as we dig into the movies of our childhood, many of which are yet to find their equal!
